HAPPY NEW YEAR DEAREST FRIENDS!!!!!!!!
2007 has begun with a BANG!
Spent New Years with Tabi, Seb and other great people @ the crowded El Mo!
Despite the fact that everyone in there was too busy dancing during the actual countdown, yes we missed the countdown so @ 12:02 Rob led us into our own countdown hehehe - it was HEAPS FUN!
Saw some people that i havent seen in ages!!
Dru!!! I miss thee! Talked about his life - ladyfriend, how much he hates the torontoscene and all the pretentious people hehe
Bo & Brent! Awww Crush Luther! i shall go to their show now! I couldnt stop laughing @ drunken bo who just held me and told me how i cleaned his shoes! haahah which is soo funny cus i dont even remember me cleaning his shoes till he brought it up! miss those guys!
And of course robbbiee deeeee!!!!
I love nice boys! all these guys have such big hearts!
so i must say i especially enjoyed the randoms we met and took pics with. I have such random pics on my phone ahha..my favourite is - after john (newfoundfriend) played CSS i jumped on stage aka his DJ booth and spent a good time just up there dancing and spinning..ahaha and just messing around with these other two peeps ahhaha..so theres a pic of us and dru magically is in the pic@ the back.
I swear most of the pics i took im doing the same pose - i was trying to rock my asian bangs that i did the whole asian pose the whole night bwhahaha..superrkawaaiii!!
Anyway. fun times had by all..especially the three of us..meeting more randoms..rob lookalike. trevor.sebastian.PICKLES. ahahah such random things i remember!!! soo much better than if we went the social im sure ppl there are tightasses anyway..everyeone was soo nice!
Unfortuntately some bad stuff in the end of the night with coatcheck. =(
hopefully things will turn up in the end.
Got home - my cousins were stil waiting for me =D nice of them. was till 5-6 on the phone with elvasssss..
I hope you all had just as much as a great New Years as me!!!!!

It is officially New Years in Sydney...
therefore i feel like i must recap this year....
This year started off with a great BANG!
I spent the first two months in Australia..it was fun catching up with family and realizing what i want to do nay,..where to end up in life..Met some neat people..learnt how to play the didj...discovered some great music! and just being with my family whom i havent seen for AGES! and although i was Franz-less..i still managed to gey Q in that Paul answered! That made my Australia Day! hehehe
Working @ CHUM was splendid too..meeting some awesome people there as well as some random encounters..i.e Matt&Adam L. hahaha..of course i cannot forget to mention all the FREEBIEESSS!! haahah
wowsers.upon looking back, i noticed that ive gone to at least one concert each month..which sort of scares me because now im wondering where i got that money and the fact that ive probably spent more than $500+ on concerts, merch etc..But the experiences, people ive met and I still keep in touch with is worth it all..heheh =)
This New Year looks promising...not just concertwise either eheheh..

i cant believe three week have already gone by.
deanne & lee left this morning.
it's so quiet in the house again
and of coure, im sad as fuck.
i cried. hhahaha..
it sucks being the only cousin not in the same vicinity as all of them..im halfway round the world. whereas they're all just a 2 min. drive away from one another. ughh
nevertheless..miss them heaps..
hopefully ill see 'em in the new year!! =)

these past two days have been spectacular..haha
thursday went out to the social..for my cousin's uni fundraiser..low and behold it was heaps fun.
first person i saw.....
rob..
i love that guy..we spoke, my cousin spoke to him bout Oz..so now he has hookups there courtesy of me, sorta. but yeah ahahha it was fun.
he is super amazing and nice. so friggen modest.
dancing was involved even after i spewed how embarassing..so i get outta the washroom and i think rob sorta knew..cus all i felt on my arm is "are you ok?" and a rub on the arm ahahah..embarassing. ahha
after some more drinks...i notice this guy..looks soo familiar..its the guy from bedioun ahahah
so i tell my cousin and she has no clue who they are..but decides to go up to them..but she approached the wrong guy so i had to interrupt her halfway & lead her to the right person ahah..so intros were made..we talked for a bit..and it was embarassing again..cus i couldnt really hear and i thought he said his name was jeff hahaha..negatory.merh!
it was good..
the social ..possibly new fav. hangout spot ahha
and they played CSS!! i was soo happy.
then chummies last night..and i didnt think id need more than 5 drink tix..but i did ahahah
sarah ex-t.a is amazing..cus she gave me hers..
got to catch up w/ some buddies...veerman, yet another nice feller (possible show outing to brantford)...marc & rob..how i miss those guys..and rambling nick.
spent the night w/ bill & vaness..we rocked the dance floor..dancing to some JT, and FRANZ! ahah CRAZY.
i love chum parties! ahha
free drinks, people you miss & love..what more can you want?!
haha
i didnt think id be able to do two nights in a row but i wanted to stay longer..oh well..party pooper vaness..next year. haha =)

unfortunately i am back...
ughhh...everytime i visit NY, it makes me realize how much of a shite city i live in ..ughh
LI is amazing as usual...didnt get time to go out at all..i did however spend lots of time with the baby! hes adorable..and its still odd that my cousin has a baby! haha
i love LI & NY in general.. Passing by hauppage and all these places..and sunrise highway!! ahaha
go figure, its 60F there and then i head back here and its freezing!!! UGGHHHH
im hoping to head back in Dec for New Years..spend more time with Matt.
As for now, jacks is on thurs, mon is xav and my cousin deanne & her bf arrive!!! YEAHH theres my aussie dosage for the year..hahaha..

so tuesdays is format.. tabs cant come =( but i convinced my cousin to go since she loves tyson haha..i figure she'll be one of the older ones there ahaha
anyway, got part of my soon-to-be godson's gift today.
It was supposed to be a cute hurley sweater i saw but some other lady snagged the bigger size..it was cute..but thank goodness i found a paul frank sweater w/ these amps on the front..my godson will be rocking that paul frank sweater..he'll be the coolest bebe in L.I!! ahahah okay whatever, but i thought it was cute..im going to take a pic of him in it haha..i think my cousin (his daddy) will enjoy it cus he was a hardcore guitarist back in the day ahha more like a couple of years ago!!
im sooo excited to for this week!!!
But id love to catch a show or what have you..go figure imogen heap has a show on sunday..hey, New yorkers... anything happening this weekend preferably saturday that i can see?!! hrrmm..Heather, if you read this, whats the deal w/ SNL last minute tix?!

ugh this week has been quite mental..
so halloween day...carly, waynester, dylan and i dressed up as the village people..
then rushed to pick up tix to rocky horror..and its 2 for 2.
flashing insued..courtesy of tyler, who happens to be a good friend of crystal from farce..how small the world is..
and it was brad's last show as frank..but lets not talk bout that right rena? ahhah
flash assignment came and went as did my pop culture midterm..which i couldve fully passed on studying and gone to the party bill invited me to..butnay..just my luck whatshisface ends up going and i dont!!
oh well i guess all i have to think bout now is my essay for pop culture..*GASP! and finish my interview...
THEN tuesday is THE FORMAT!! yay!! aww..don is a sweetheart.im excited and i hope tabbers will make it..i think she'll come!!! she HAS to!!!
then im off for the weekend for NY. YAYY TARGET!! ahahahah i love target haha.. and my parents said that im going to drive in the thruway woot. i havent driven on the highways here but i think itll be a great start!! im excited..this week is great
oh and posibly imogen heap on wednesday ...MAYBE?!
anyone with hookups lemme know..id rather get in for free..or very cheap ahah..i need two tix haha

Happy Birthday sister tabitha!!!
Last night was uber fun.
Mod club was sold out so we decided to head out to the Drake & possibly Gladstone for the Hoedown.
Fairly long line but once we were in it was good. Im pretty sure we spent most of the night @ the bar and never on the dance floor.
it was fun..saw randoms..and gav. from my program. I rem. seeing BORAT!hahah
and we headed out to the Gladstone afterwards..w/ Ghostbusters& the Listerine woman ahahah
I had heaps of fun..though sneaking down to the basement to puke wasnt too fun ahaha..i eventually woke up in the afternoon. The clock change is certainly fucking me up but i had fun and thats all that matters!!!!
Happy birthday again tabs..you're 5 years away from Cougarville!!!

these past two days ive found myself beaming while listening to the kooks and really distracted during class.
the reason behind this has all amounted to last night..
soo i met up with the guys @ eatons centre..and i was quite excited..we went round shopping for their skate stuff and we went to noise and met this skateboarder who was @ the west 49 event and he told us bout the sunday party w/ the flying tomato..awww tabs =(
rico and i were talking and the subject of tobi came up but i sorta wasnt sure if i wanted to believe him but yeah..i pretended like i didnt care..and shopped..
tabi finally and thankfully came..and we had dinner@montanas. dinner was funny...
and it has been revealed or so we like to think that marco really does understand us ahah
but yeah..my quest to learn more german has somewhat been fulfilled ahah.. the exchange of slang/bad words..
after dinner we went and saw jackass2..HILARIOUS..i could not stop laughing!! and yeah, yeah, i was loud. but it was wayyyy toooo funny.
After the movie, the mood got quite awkward..i guess..
but yeah..they decided that they would bring us home..how nice of them..
we spent a good 10 minutes in the parking garage taking pictures ahaha
and soo came the end of the night...or so i thought..
as tabs was opening her garage door, she told me what rico had asked..soo thinking that i wouldnt see them, i decided to stop their car and tell rico..carpe diem right!?!
nay nay, we met up w them later on @ valu mart..and it was just plain awkward...on my part..i couldnt even look@ tobi but yea oh well..big sigh.. I felt stupid. i didnt know what to do/say.. and i could see Marco behind him just standing there..with a smirk on his face..and yeah..a mixture of bad timing & bad luck ahah..but a part of me doesnt want to believe it.its all in the moment as tabs says. but yeah..so im on the phone later on w/ tabs and i get a text from him..sweet..and i hate how i cant have outgoing texts so it prob seems like im a snob/ignoring him. ahh..i w
ahh well..what could i really have expected..they leave tomorrow..and itll be a year or more till we see them again and a lot can happen in a year..i dont expect things to be the same when we see them again anyway..
but i miss their company..their schwagerren, gutten nachts & morgens etc..
oh well, i guess i have the Kooks...and emails will do..
i am an idiot. ive been kicking myself..ah well.

past three days have been quite great..
friday last minute decision to go to Hammer to see Mike's band.
So i get there and i get lost and go the completely opposite way im supposed to be going..i end up near some male stripper place and its totally sketch!!
whatever i finally get to Copps and tabs is there w/ steph and this guy who i thought was just another friend. Nay, this is 1/3 of the Swiss guys tabs told me bout. pure coincidence that i come when theyre there. Ahahah
So we walk into MickyDees and i see two other cute guys and of course, its the other swiss guys ahaha..
They are hilarious.
Went back to Tabs' place.Drank. headed over to Casbah.
at this point steph is GONE.we get warned that we may get kicked out and i get told that if she pukes im gettin' blamed.wtf?!stupid but cute door guy. ughh
anyway, the rest of the night is one big blob. all i know is mike has proven to be yet again a sweetheart. choosen as merchgirl for his solo stuff haha. and i now know his background! ahha
-- then swiss guys, tabs and I danced to some Racket and then the Lo Fi. Crazy fun shit. with the ska and all. and tabs and i making fun of the cougars ahah..mike totally heard me too and laughed. haha
hrrmmm then walked to hess. & took cab there where Marco aka Borat was HILARIOUS.

Then i decided to stay the extra hours and go w/ them to the Skateboarding Open. Tabs was there to see Shaun..with his faux pas white jeans ahah but its okay, hes cute and forgiven.. and steph w/ Buster..WOWSERS!a hot version of gomer. i like!! ahah and just as 'old' ahhah
but whatever..it was fun.
I heart Chris Haslam! HE's AMAZING!!
Then of course i had to leave..it was sad.. no more craziness..
I only spent a night and half a day w/ those guys and i miss them already ahah theyre incredibly nice!! rico is soo nice, toby has the greatest taste in music and i love his profession hehe..and Marco is just nuts!!!
I loved it when rico was THE translator or when theyd (mostly marco) started talking to me in german as if i understood which @ times i could get the jists of it ahah.
then i had to leave as mentioned..
and now im up..just got off the phone w/ tabs, steph & the swiss boys who are @ some pub with hobos. I'm soo M.I.A right now. Not even funny. Shit's goin' down too ahahaha..Rico called me by the bartender's name and yeah..hahah its just madness..Yay Tabs. I am not mad @ you so no need for apologizing. haha.. anyway theres toby ahaha kidding. god knows what steph&marco are up to but steph told me theres def deets ahah..she was buster-less tonight but shes soooo set on seeing him again ahah. i wouldnt mind either.
Im hoping tabs (COME) comes to T.O on tuesday when the guys come too (hopefully). Im sad that im totally missing out on this charade!
ahh i miss this weekend.

Im still beaming bout the RHCP concert..however i was really sad when trish callled me and Mars Volta aka Cedric was actually singing!!!
UGGHHH]..im still borderline pissed angry bout it
I tried the whole day finding tickets but whatever, next time theyre here..FOR SURE..but i dont think anything can live up to the 5th row experience!!! ahaha
so i didnt find THE setlist but im assuming its somewhere along the lines of what i have..
i cant believe the US Vfest had them headlining ... Canada sucks with Big festies like that.
One day, we'll see 'em again!! Im sure of it...

Red Hot Fricken Peppers..was awesome!!!
we get there and fully miss the intro to Mars Volta..but i must say i was very disappointed with their set or lack thereof. John did play their whole set but it was literally a JamFest..no singing involved at all..i am told someone was sick but cmon.. =( i was sad. but yeah..Omar is soo skinny, fro-less but cute and i love the ass mooning =) haha.. yes theres pictures
When we got there, we were re-routed and we thought we were gonna go to the back of the floors but nay, we were escorted to our proper seats..5TH ROW EFFIN CENTRE!! AHH the view was amazing and soo close to the stage
[When Volta were on stage I look @ the security guard and notice its Richard from ages ago..suprisingly he still rem. me which is odd cus he said he forgets people easily. we got to talk after the show, he jumped the barricades and turns out hes THE guys' bodyguard!!! WHOA WHOA WHOA..and of course being the smartass he is, rubs it in my face ahaha that guy 'protects' EVERYONE]
then the chili willies get on..AMAZING.
AMAZING.
this is def. high up on the concert list!!
they started with scar tissue and proceedded with the classics and it got even better.. they even played Blood Sugar Sex Magic!! YAYY OLDIESS!!
it was great..Flea is cute with his ripped bodysuit and shoes..Will, yes i like calling Chad Will (Ferrell) chucked his drumsticks in the same direction aka where we were and we got swarmed..ah well.. John a.k.a crackedout but hot jesus, is soo talented..and Anthony ..must i even say anything?! It was quite surreal i tell you.. I grew up watching them...literally with Love Rollercoaster - circa the beginning of my Anthony K. crush & Aeroplane were easily my fav. videos as a kid. ahah yes thats gr 3!! mtv was my best friend ahah
their set was long and nice..and encore lacked Other Side but it was good nonetheless..
And Anthony is hands down my favourite 44 year old. haha =)

so, tell me how two days ago I had the strangest dream that involved Xav Rudd..then last night, I found out that Xav's comin' back!!!!! AHHHHHHHHH =)
Im sooo happy.. So ill buy the ticket and if i cant go (ugh) I will have to sell it.
But yay! Xavs comin' back!
and apparently SR has confirmed a tour with STN. WOOOHOOO!!!
Lets hope these days dont conflict w/ anything (i.e exams)

school sucks.
im already stressed when its only been the 2nd week.
i do not enjoy it as much as i originally though i wouldve
half the time im worrying.
im hoping ill get over it.
i miss work.
howevever, will makes me smile with his note. haha. encouraging.
my macbook came today.
schmooze was alright. no partying though.
offered free tix to vfest. painfully declined. =(
